Biografia
Luca Rimoldi is Associate Professor in Cultural Anthropology at the Department of Human Sciences for Education “Riccardo Massa” of the University of Milan-Bicocca. Between 2019 and 2021, he was a researcher (Rtd-A) at the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Catania. From 2014 to 2019 he was a researcher at the Department of Sociology and Social Sciences and at the Department of Human Sciences for Education “Riccardo Massa” of the University of Milan-Bicocca. In 2015 he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre Maurice Halbwachs in Paris thanks to a grant from the Fernand Braudel Programme - IFER incoming (International Fellowships for Experienced Researchers) of the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme funded by the European Union (FP7/2007-2013 – MSCA-CO- FUND n°245743). Since 2008, he has been conducting research in Italy and Senegal, focusing on social memory, the production of marginality, forms of exclusion and waste management. He is the author of national and international articles and the monograph “Lavorare alla Pirelli-Bicocca. Antropologia delle memorie operaie » (2017).
