Sono aperte le iscrizioni per partecipare alle giornate di formazione “Welfare e invecchiamento transnazionale: politiche, migrazioni e attori sociali”, organizzate nel quadro del progetto TAIA. La formazione si terrà presso l’Università di Bologna il 17 giugno e il 24 ottobre. L’evento è aperto a un pubblico di addetti ai lavori (ricercatori, studenti, operatori del Terzo settore) e a tutti/e coloro che sono interessati/e a comprendere il nesso tra invecchiamento, migrazioni e welfare.

Nella prima giornata (17 giugno), verranno discussi i cambiamenti e le criticità delle politiche previdenziali e assistenziali di fronte ad una terza età sia stanziale che mobile, e come diversi attori sociali ne mediano l’accesso ai servizi.

La seconda giornata (24 ottobre) restituisce i risultati di ricerche etnografiche sull’invecchiare tra Italia, Tunisia e Senegal, facendo emergere bisogni, legami ed esperienze di welfare formale e informale.

Registration is now open for the training days “Welfare and transnational aging: policies, migration and social actors,” organized as part of the TAIA project. The training will be held at the University of Bologna on June 17 and October 24. The event is open to practitioners (researchers, students, third sector workers) and to anyone interested in understanding the nexus between aging, migration, and welfare.

On the first day (June 17), the changes and criticalities of social security and welfare policies in the face of both a settled and mobile third age, and how different social actors mediate their access to services, will be discussed.

The second day (Oct. 24) returns findings from ethnographic research on aging between Italy, Tunisia, and Senegal, bringing out needs, linkages, and experiences of formal and informal welfare.
